Augustin followed
a stellar freshman year with another tremendous season
leading the Texas
Longhorns to a 28 - 6 record, a conference championship
appearance and a #2 seed in the
NCAA Tournament. He improved his scoring average, rebounds,
and field goal percentage
with the most impressive rise in scoring going up from
fourteen to twenty points per game.
DJ led the Big XII in assists this season with a 2:1 Assist-Turnover
ratio and finished second
in scoring. He has been named First-Team All-America by
the USBWA, Sports Illustrated and
The Sporting News and is one of five finalists for the
Oscar Robertson Trophy.

Acie Law IV
led Texas A&M to one of the best seasons in school
history averaging more than 18 points per game and over
five assists per contest. Law was named to the first-team
for the Big 12 Conference, Big 12 Conference Player
of the Year and first-team All-America by ESPN
and Sports Illustrated. Law ranks among the top five
players in Texas A&M history in points, assists, steals
and three-point field goals and recorded his career high
of 15 assists this year in a conference game against Texas.
Law has been tabbed the nickname of “Mr. Clutch” for
his Aggie team. Off the court, he was a member of the 2007
Academic All-Big 12 Team and was active in various community
service programs, including Aggie Athletes Involved and
the A&M basketball reading program, which benefits
students from local elementary schools. Acie was
a first round draft pick of the Atlanta Hawks in the 2007
NBA Draft.

Dee Brown
University of Illinois

Nicknamed "The
One-Man Fast Break," Dee Brown has earned the
reputation as being one of the quickest guards in America.
A 2005 Consensus First-Team All-American and National
Player of the Year by The Sporting News, Brown helped
Illinois to the National Championship game before falling
to North Carolina and the 2005 Cousy Award winner Raymond
Felton. Brown
has scored over 1,000 points for his career, made over
200 three-point shots and dished out over 500 assists
for the Illini. Brown led the team this season in scoring
at 14.2 points per game and assists with 5.79 per game
for Illinois which is currently 20-2 overall. He graduated
in December with a degree in Sport Management and had
a class rank of 16 out of 382.

Raymond Felton
University of North Carolina

Raymond Felton, a 6'1" junior
point guard from Latta, South Carolina was the first Tar
Heel to ever record 1,000 points, 600 assists, 300 rebounds,
150 steals and 100 three-point field goals. He led the
Atlantic Coast Conference with 6.9 assists per game for
the regular season and earned himself a spot on the All-ACC
First Team and All-ACC Defensive Team. He currently ranks
fourth all-time on the North Carolina list for career assists
and was only the ninth Tar Heel to dish out more than 500
assists. Felton was selected to the NCAA Final Four All-Tournament
Team after averaging 13.7 points and 6.8 assists over the
course of the tournament. Felton was named co-MVP of the
2005 National Championship winning North Carolina team
along with Final Four Most Valuable Player Sean May. He
opted to bypass his senior season at North Carolina and
was selected fifth overall in the 2005 NBA Draft. Drafted
by the Charlotte Bobcats he was able to re-unite with college
teammate Sean May who was selected 13 th overall.

Jameer Nelson

Jameer Nelson, a 6'0" point guard from Chester, Pennsylvania
averaged 16.8 points per game and 5.7 assists per game
for St. Joseph's University as a senior leading the Hawks
to an undefeated regular season and a spot in the Elite
Eight of the NCAA Tournament. He was the Consensus National
Player of the Year in 2004 earning the Associated Press,
Wooded, Naismith, Rupp, Robertson and Chevrolet Player
of the Year Awards in addition to receiving the inaugural
Bob Cousy National Point Guard of the Year Award. Nelson
was also named co-NABC Player of the Year with the University
of Connecticut's Emeka Okafor. He was a unanimous First
Team All-America Selection and Atlantic 10 Player of the
Year. Nelson was drafted 20th overall in the 2004 NBA
Draft by the Orlando Magic. In his rookie season, Nelson
was named to the All-NBA Rookie Second Team.
